im too lazy and its 4 degrees. i think i can always unhook and if i can get out from under it that way make their yard truck with chains get it out for me.
ive been busy with the broker trying to push back the delivery. they want it the 5th at 6 am, 4am my time, almost 1400 miles...im still being loaded and the roads are so bad i will be lucky to get to 94 tonight. around 100 miles. all the rest of that in a day and some change cant really be done.

finally loading me though! i am not happy about these roads, it was only about the last 70-80 miles that are icy and snowy but they made it count. had a car spin out in front of me before it even started snowing. it was funny a van almost hit them then they just drove off like nothing happened. anyway im going to have to go back in the dark, so just kill me now haha.

You got there right after I got my taco lunch and ran out of wiper fluid ONCE AGAIN. I am in SFS with about 10 others drivers until I deliver tomorrow. Tried to get er done today but the boogers said " We are too busy since we were closed Friday. Can you come in the morning at 7am." HMMMM.... Roads closed>>>> I am at home>>>>> Good company>>>> You are really twisting my arm. Back at home home for - dare I say an "unwanted night" - I got white line fever now. Did run into my CDL school partner in crime today at SFS and his wife. SAE gave me a load to GA, I couldn't take, so I Q/C'd her and suggested him as a replacement. He got the load. Some of you may know TOM. #1930 with the heavy haul amber lights on his truck. I'm like "What the freak is that". He's Like " I play with the lights and it freaks people out" My God Tom. Get a new hobby dude. We had lots o fun at SFS today. I hated to leave but my girlfriend wouldn't understand why I would wanna be with you guys over her. I would question me too, actually. POLL: What shop do you like best. Maybe a new thread, but I am a follower and not willing to do it myself. :biggrin_25514: Let's get some feedback!!

I'm still sitting in Phoenix, dispatch said nothing for me today...I was on the phone in stunned silence as I'm not used to that...They're also trying to get me to a shop as Don said I could get headlights replaced and I need an oil change so they're looking for load going to one of those terminals as well...I've driven 30 miles in the last 4 days but I'm being a little forgiving due to holiday...If it goes much longer, I'll go crazy!...At least it's 50-60 degrees and sunny during the day so taking walks and such has been nice!

Dispatch is inundated with calls and messages after this Holiday weekend. Sit tight and bear those absolutely devastating temperatures. They are trying to move a lot of freight stuck in bad weather. Call SFS and ask if I can repower your load and send you back up north. It's least I can do to end your suffering. What are friends for?? :biggrin_2559:

The national radar didn't look too bad today, I didn't care where they sent me, just send!!!!!!...I told her there's a shop in Missoula, Conover and SFS, whatever works, I'll take!...Seems more loads come into Phoenix than go out...The terminal here is also, let's say, tiny...You have to back in and if the 2 trucks I saw leave the lot had one more coat of paint on them they'd have scraped it off...

Backing in isnt so bad. The street has very little traffic except for the people going back and forth to work and the fedex, ups, and other truckers. HMMM... sounds like a regular street. LOL. If you call ahead of time, the terminal manager will have a dock ready for you to just back straight into, if you have to unload. He doesnt like an unannounced truck in his limited parking area.....Did I mention it was limited?

I have had various things done at SFS MIS. & HEL. I would say all 3 are good but my own personal option is I like SFS shop the best, Art runs a tight ship there, not saying that Mike and Darren don't I just like it in SFS.

Sitting in the literal middle of nowhere picking up a load of hay in Tonopah, AZ to be heading to Wilmington, CA so I can then go to SFS and get the much needed work done on truck...The scenery is drop dead beautiful here though which I've always loved AZ for!...
