You had to quit to get your profit-sharing money? How does that work? Could a driver just borrow against it, like a 401(k)? It just seems like a bad deal to have to quit to get at some of your company money.

No , they don't allow it on the profit sharing account .... Because it's mainly walmart money

two days down at orentation for Lawson Tank, seems ok , unloading cooking oil is a little messier than I thought, still not 100% sold on them, called Calex they are interested in me, more decisions to make, dont want to make the wrong one, also Truck Service out of Forest City NC, they haul medical supplys for kendall, sounds good, paperless logging for both companys, like that.

cant get all your profit sharing without quitting, only can borrow against it, but only a small amount, I needed more than I could borrow

I would think you would find something out about them BEFORE you went to work there!

het ky24,I got ya, not sure should book, office seems disorganized, mgr. not very bright, owners nephew, not very nice, you can tell other people in office dont respect him.Calex is out of Pittston Pa, next to Scranton, found them here, check out blog by johnboy, sounds good, I dont think Lawson runs legal,we did three loads and unloads today, hook up pto hoses on front of trl, hook up hoses in back, open dome to vent, hook up hose to customer fitting, engauge pto, start pump in back , took 40 min. to unload, 20 min to load. I think I could do it but a lot to remember, trainer told me to do everything in same order to get into routine, unloading cooking oil a little messy when unhooking hoses, noy sure if this is for me ,but trainer said I did real good, I felt like i did not have a clue
