I worked for them a few yrs ago. They are mostly team oriented. My ex and I did pretty good for a while. Once we split it wasnt so good. He still works for them. It was tough going from 70 to 68 to 63.

Interstate does not pay breakdown pay OR layover pay.

I wonder what happened with the Chicago drop yard in La Grange, IL? I went there this past weekend to p/u a preloaded trlr and... nothing was there. Had to put in for directions to find out where it relocated to. Would have been nice if they'd told us. This yard is shared with another trucking company & is extremely small compared to the rail yard it was at before. Did we get the boot or was it our decision, I wonder? I'm getting worried about their financials myself.

Thanks so much. I know that Interstate has shut down their truck washes and disconnected all the ice machines at their terminals. There was a blog that they were selling out. That could be why they are showing less expenses -- at the expense of the drivers.

ha ha thats funny..and if you do breakdown...no motel...no sir...you get a LOANER trk to sleep in...so we just paid for it on our own...if you are at a company teminal..EVEN if they have truck OVERNIGHT...

Impressive! A truck that can cool itself while not running, I need one of those in Phoenix this July.
That is some horrible writing. Did Kenny say that?
