I am appalled that YOU would suggest censorship here on a American website! I could not give a #### about the mexican trucks or people for that matter, I don't want them here! are you ready to give your job up to the mex's?. (just like all those that lost family wage jobs in Portland, Or when they recently closed the Freightliner plant there and moved the whole #### operation to mexico!)
our idiotic government is acting on it's own with no regard for the good of America or it's legal citizens. when the government fails to respect the wishes of the people it's suppose to be working for, violence does and will happen.
Go ahead, sit on your hands and wait.. enjoy your job and quasi freedom while you have it, but don't think the government has forgotten you.. they will be importing foreign workers who will do your job for less, or closing the plant where you work and shipping it overseas in due time. but hey, no worries right? we still have service industry jobs right?? YOU BET! if you can beat an illegal alien to it you might get minimum wage plus tips, better hope for that socialized medicine, not many workers a burger king have binnies....
For all you 60's and 70's generation peace freaks out there I am not advocating any violence either good or bad, and there is a difference. (gangbangers Vs Freedomfighters) just simply stating the facts as they are.

Are the Republicans really that much out of touch what's happening, what regular folks ( truckers ) think about this issue?

All I know is that if this bill passes we won't have jobs pretty soon ( unless you want to work for next to nothing ), like stupid refineries ( ha ha ha..) and high fuel prices are not enough to deal with.

 

Did you read the quote in my post? I don't see any reference to bad language at all in the post?.. here's the quote again..

Man, this is a bummer. I just lost my CNC factory job to a plant move to Mexico back on March 30th. I just passed my DOT physical and now I read this crap. I'm sick of hearing about all the out-sourcing, & pressing 1 to proceed in English on the phone or at the ATM.

I find myself losing faith in America on a daily basis now. Seems we are selling our country, our jobs and our lives.

 

It's all about the money. However, I still think if you do a better job than the average guy, most good drivers will have good work. drive55cat

As the recent college shooting proved, the U.S. government will give foreign nationals ALL sorts of privileges, when they are needed they will dish them out Haz-mat endorsements like candy.

more and more American's are losing their jobs foreigners here in the U.S. and abroad.
Where do you think those American's that will become unemployed by this will work?
Oh yea, that right.. there's a new U.S factory on every corner! they will just go through the phony government retraining program to work in one of the new high tech jobs.. RIGHT....
Free trade will destroy America's middle class and the American dream right along with it.
Think about all the young folks out there going through college with the hopes there will still be good jobs for them when they graduate. I've talked to quite a few of them, they know the future is bleak.
Take a good look at todays youth, what are we leaving for their future?
