What should I do?

There are thousands of companies out there. If you want to find a good carrier you have to put in some extra effort and do some research. Most of the herd just go with the same ol' pre-hires that the school recommends. (The same school that is getting paid from the companies to recommend them) Keep your eye on Craigslist. Companies like Central Ref and Watkins Shepards aren't mega-carriers and take new drivers. Windy Hill is another good one. There are so many. You just don't here about them because they aren't spending millions of dollars in advertising to get you to work for them. That should be a red flag right there! The companies that aren't advertising have a lower driver turn over rate = happier drivers! Here is another website that will help you:

C'mon now, you have got to go above and beyond! Think outside of the box! Keep in mind too that when you are filling out apps. make sure to make call backs on them everyday! Don't wait for the companies to call you. They have hundreds of drivers a day fill out apps so you want to be the squeaky wheel! (cause it gets the grease!) Welcome to the forum and good luck to you!
