How many truck stops can you still smoke in ??

I am a woman and allergic to perfume. I dont have to be in a "closed box" as you say for it to effect me. One whif and its instant sick headache for the entire day. And like smoke, it seems to stick to my clothes so I smell it all day. I do smoke, but I do try to be conciderate to non-smokers. But, a truck is a truckers "home". It would be just like renting a house or apartment after a smoker (or perfume addict) lived there.

 

Not really. Most of the apartments are repainted and carpets cleaned between renters.

 

You can still smoke at the Bp tr.stop I-65 xt 38 in Smiths grove,ky.

 

Maybe where your from. The apartment I moved into in March 2010 was the very first one that might repaint after a smoker lives there. And I have lived in some pretty nice apartments in VA and TN.

 

I owned a rental house and after each renter, it was painted and the carpets cleaned.

I have never moved into an apartment or house that it was not done.

It is illegal to smoke in ANY restaurant ( Including truckstops ) in North Carolina,..I am happy to say.

 

Wow you kiddies are ALL FIRED UP! Amazing how a simple question can turn in kindergarden so quickly! Honest rational discourse is one of the most important things in a democracy! I'll bet you all complain about the gov't from time to time--but guess what--y'all sound like congress on CSPAN jsut without all the BS my esteemed collegue--yes maam no sir BS they spew when they whine like little girls. To make it worse many hers are O/Os (or at least profess to be)
THE ONLY POINT HERE THAT MATTERS&ALL OF MOST OF YOU MISSED IT(just like congress)is that these are private business' a a person that spends their hard earned money to start a buisiness should be able to run it how they see fit! As long at it is a LEGAL business(and dont philly lawyer the smoking law therefor it is illigal!)
The point here is let THE MARKET DECIDE!! If a T/S wants to allow smoking they should--if not they shouldn't--same for any establishment YOU are not FORCED to use. So if T/S allows smoking and sees a significant drop in business due to it--they just might change their policy--same with any other establishment of this kind--Unfrotunatley too many legit business have gone under in states that banned it in bars!!! Why so many non smoking states have legal ways around the ordanance(PA&FL for example) It is about a business person being allowed to run their business--just like you want to run your truck! And judging from the responses here--there would be enough business of both kind for both kind!
