Really don't count on the OD loads. Only four places I've seen us haul them from. I've been with boyd for two years n haven't pulled one yet. As far as waitin, dragon is rite. Expect some shippers n consignee to b super slow. As far as waitin a day for a load, doesn't happen to often. More so in winter months though so do expect it. Once spring hits we will b ballz out. Trust me on that one.

so being home every weekend is an option at Boyd if you are willing to accept fewer miles?

Sounds like a good company. It's hard to find one that fits

I'm goin' to start on the 17th. It sounds good except I hope they don't have 120 lb tarps like I hear exist.

I know for the agility test my husband said the heaviest tarp they had to lift was like 90lbs.

Jeff, I'm home almost every weekend when I'm not training. Depending on where u live depends on how often ur home. Boyd is a great company. I have really not one complaint. Only thing I don't like is what smoke hit on, the lumber tarp. They heavy as u know what, but the trick is to get a helpings hand or a forklift to put on trailer for u. It's not as bad as what a lot of people make it out to b. I'm thirty with bad knees n a slipped disc in my lower back n I love doin this job. It's a way of life.
