Umm.... C.L. Werner had a pretty massive stroke a few years back.... his younger brothers and sons have been in charge for a while now.

I just don't want you trash talking a guy from what I've heard was a very decent man back in his day over things he has no control over.

at least they are starting to put out bulk totes of the DEF fluid at Pilots. i think i was 2.99 a gal. like that. instead of the 12.99 to 16.99 for 2.5 gal. jugs. the werner Omaha terminal lets you fill up with DEF there while the others will only give you 1-2.5 gal jug. my last stop there saved me around $200.

I also have a 2011 Volvo 670 here. This is what I do,

    1. Send a MAC 41 for the cost of 3 2.5 gallon Jugs.
    2. When they approve it I wait 15 minutes and call payroll for the EFS number.
    3. I go inside and buy three jugs.
    4. I put three jugs into my tank.
    5. I send in receipt.
    6. I get the cash back the following fri.

Is it ########, yep. They told me that they are waiting on EFS to write a progam to allow the purchase of it on our fuel cards. EFS is waiting on the truck stops to write a program for EFS cards to works to buy it. So, maybe next year our cards will work :biggrin_25525:

So if the information that you have is correct, that would mean that CL Werner is not the problem. It is the EFS program.

As of middle of August Werner EFS cars will pay for DEF fluid. I have a new Cascadia with DEF and Werner just got it so EFS cards pay for DEF!! Finally... I was just paying for it out of my pocket and Macro 41 for pay back on next check. Never had a problem with getting paid back. I just made note of the purchase in my trip book and on next week when I pulled up my pay on qualcom I checked to see that it was put back into my check. Never had a problem with it not being there!!!

i think everything should be able to charge to efs card scales, def, fuel, why make the driver foot the bill and hope they reimburse you. theres no reason they cant. at least not a good reason i would go along with. yes i put up with this because i need my job as well as everyone else.
