    i ain't never heard of them, but it "seems like" they are the typical food service delivery company, like, Sysco, US Foods, Sigma, Agar, etc,etc.

    i read thru the website, now they DO NOT MENTION that they hire students..

    but one MUST have delivery experience and a very good driving record....

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The driver will be responsible for the delivery of products to customers, completing all required paperwork and documenting activities.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Deliver product along assigned routes consisting of multiple stops with various levels of difficulty
    • Reading customer invoices to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and delivered
    • Assembling customer orders to be delivered to places of business
    • Place delivered products in various assigned storage locations at each stop according to customer requests
    • Maintain delivery time windows for each stop on the route
    • Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling
    • Immediately communicate problems with Supervisor by phone
    • Perform duties by following the Company’s safety standards
    • Represent Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude and following dress code
    • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
    • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
    • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
    • Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries
    • Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo or billing statements in accordance with regulations
    • Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions
    • Report delays, accidents or other traffic and transportation situations to bases

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    • Valid Class A CDL drivers license required
    • Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years
    • Able to perform repetitive lifting of over 50lbs, occasional lifting of over 100lbs
    • At least one year delivery experience required.

    • High school graduate or GED required

    GENERAL STATEMENT

    Drug Screen and Physical will be required

    I have been in touch with the safety manager on a daily basis...he is going over the info...i am not worried about getting the job thats going to happen..i wanted know how good the company is to work for..i seen all that you posted weeks ago..

    My buddy worked for them for 3 weeks in oklahoma. He said it was a hell of a lot of work and said the hell with it.
