Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Still trying to figure out why it required an enclosed trailer.
The car is a luxury Lexus, that's why, and have you ever driven the roads in Northern Montana and Southern Alberta in the winter months!! Yikes Brother !!
And no I'm importing the car as usual, nothing on the sly, had the car brought up to Montana from Missouri, I'm flying down to Billings, and I'll drive it the rest of the way home ,for it's pretty hard to hide that car when your driving it crossing the Sweetgrass /Coutts border!!Last edited: Jan 7, 2011

Drive it all the time. We haul cars to Sweetgrass regularly.

That's why I never used it when I was hauling cars,...
I could never find anything going where I was going to fill up or get back,...And the prices where stupid low anyway,... -
Local paper? So you got someone to drive 3200 miles roundtrip for $1000?
At .32 / mile nobody is going to be working in missouri anytime soon because they won't be able to afford their bills and all their stuff is going to get repoed.
There is no way you got a company to do it for that. Maybe a racer that has garaged their car for the winter?walleye Thanks this. -
Gotta ask, where are you guys pulling freight from? I've been hauling cars almost a year and a half now and if I could fill my trailer with $1100 cars going 1500 miles I'd be a rich man. I have a 7 car cottrell and at 1000 a pop each way thats $14,000 for a 3000 mi round trip. Figure in another 500 mi for del/pickups and even leave a few empty spots that's still good money. You guys must have a lot of overhead if you can't haul for that money. -
I posted my ad's in some local forums, and craiglist and the phone ran off the hook.
The fella was going up that way,and was more than glad to take the car. Should of gone that way weeks ago and forgot all the ridiculous dispatch crap!! -
When I was in it I was working directly with the customers,..And pulling some "overflow" that friends in the business had,..
