If your jumping out of gear in the front box you can sometimes get a little extra life by replacing the shift fork in the tower. If its worn past that you will need to rebuild the at minumim the front box, and leaving that to the pros is recommended.

If you have the room, take the shift tower off and look at the front shift collor (closest to the bell housing) if there is any life left at all to the clutching, replace the front shift fork and get back on the road again for awhile. Make sure to remove the slave valve and actuator pin before bolting the lid back on.

Yes im referring to the sliding clutch. If its worn too far back even a shift fork may not be the answer, but without seeing it, its hard to say.
