1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I don't see anything there that couldn't have been hauled by a professional on an open transporter.
Glad it worked out for you. However; had he wrecked, chances are you'd have been out an expensive Toyota.

The rates go up & down to the border in MT because of the value of the dollar when Canadians buy American cars. The bigger problem is you have to drive 400-700 miles out of there to find anything to load on your trailer.

Have never been to MT. but a friend of mine used to run cars from the southwest to Sweet Grass all the time, rarely had anything else on his trailer until Utah or hook around through Idaho & down 5. He is no longer in business.

Exactly,...........Most of the craigslit and uship are not licensed by the dot and most of them do not carry the proper insurance, As Joetro said an accident could cost you a car,..

Something as simple as the unlicensed carrier getting caught by the dot could hold the car up for days while other arrangements for transport are made, And That cost's even more money and time,...
