CRE did rip me off - it is a lengthy story and you can e-mail me for more info if you wish - lets just say, I wont be going back and my personal belongings were thrown away per Bob B. at CRE - choose your carrier wisely as I thot this was a good company but they cost me well over $2500 at the end of employ with them - this seems to be common practice with them so just beware if you do choose them
    Thanks

can you elaborate on the circumstances?

You may have a case for small claims court, for your belongings, assuming you did not abandon your truck...

Unfortunately, the person starting this thread hasn't been here in 4 months and probably won't answer.

Just a little of experience at cr england in waxahachie,tx........

hey guys i will be going to cr england this coming sunday, for the second time!! let me tell you why....Two weeks ago un sunday i left by bus going to their dallas terminal which by the way is Premiere trucking school not cr englands...when i arrived to the drop off location in south dallas we called a shuttle, to which to my surprise was a white van with no CR ENgland logo on it....it was like 12 guys waiting for the same vehicle i had not seen the other guys waiting on the shuttle also... so any ways here comes the van and we all get in like sardines and we driven like 20 minutes or so away to a little town called Waxahachie to a DAys inn hotel/MOTEL " I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT"!!!!!!! but oh well i was already there...lol so we get checked in and it was like 2+2+2 and then 4 guys in a room and three in another lucky was i that i had only one partner in mine. Monday comes around and we have to get (by the way if you go also take an alarm clock)up by 5:00am in front of the hotel waiting for oue busdriver so he can take us to school...man when he got to the hotel the first thing he said was 1 week 3rd week people get on first ,then 2nd week students get on ..and we was like hey now we dont fit and we had to wait until he came back for us the second time around and if you are not in front of that building you will not be taken to school...u will have to go at your own expense which will cost you approximately 65.00 dollars just to get from their to the school...
so anyways we get to school and we have to sign on a sheet being passed around by our instructor and who is your recruiter also or who sent you to that school.the whole time i was their it was lie after lie after lie... but oh well i was already there for the moment.... the first lie was my recruiter told me i was to get 3 meals a day and that we would go to walmart 3 times a week & that training took only 2 weeks. well wake up and smell the coffee.....i had to pay for my own food, there is this little white truck that goes and sells food which by the way is so ****ing expensive .....a hamburger with ketchup, mustard and a piece os soybean with cold fries cost 6.50...then you only goto walmart on monday afternoon and thursday.......and you get 45 minutes to buy so its like a shopping spree u see on tv......the hotel has a swimming pool with no water.....the fridge anf microwave in side the rooms are not so clean....the instructors are ok but they.well actually the recruiters shouldnt lie just to get u to go to that kind of school.....but anyways im going back because i dont care if the rooms are bad or if i may have to sleep in aroom with 3 other guys ..or if i only get to go to walmart 2 times a week (LOL).the thing is i want to get my cdl and work for them probably ayear or so...by the way one of their drivers was on his way home and stopped by for lunch he had just been payed an 1800.00 check take home for 7100 in the last week he is a trainer but anyways my point is they do seem to work in good way in my opinion. like the instructor said on our first day of school "I do not want to put you guys in pretty hotel or else you guys will wan to stay back at the hotel and not want to come to my school"..... but its oK....hahaha i guess, hope so.....

by the way i heard the school in SLC Utah has bunk beds that are bad but they do give like two meals a day .....

I don't think the driver just happened to stop by. This was a setup to make everyones eyes pop and to get your minds right.

A truck that runs 7100 miles a week is not a trainer truck. It is a never stopping team truck. The co-driver may have been a trainee, but he sure wasn't getting trained. He was making the trainer a lot of free money though.

Anyway, 7100 miles is 1014 miles a day for seven days straight. I don't see that happening with pick-ups and deliveries, especially refrigerated loads.

They are blowing more smoke than a turned up 1963 non-turbo Mack.

Think about it. If they have lied this much before you even work there, how much will they lie after you have signed your life away and gotten behind the wheel.

Be careful, and DON'T SIGN THE LEASE !!!

Yupp.....that pay check waving was a set up.

7100 miles in 1 week with a trainee.... BS!!!

Grab your CDL and run !!! Fast !!! These people are not thinking of your best interest.

Besides...he got ripped off. Even if he did do it. Based on those miles, I would have brought home over $2600.00 at my old job, as a trainer. But, you ain't driving my truck 3500 miles in a week with me in the bunk. Not in this lifetime, or any other.
