hi, all
i am also going to drive Roehl i start next week. thx for the info. some said they have slow trucks, how slow ? -
I know that Transam is limited to 63. I can't imagine them being slower than that.
-
I believe Roehl trucks are set at 60...maybe 62...not sure...they are a good company...better than Werner or Jb Hunt.......they won't try and push a lease on you right away ( or last I knew) like some companies will...IE CR England, Prime...etc...
Trans Am does have a lease option and when I looked at them 2 years ago they were pushing me on that UNTIL they found out I lived in Wisconsin......at that time they weren't hiring out of Wi. and proceeded to get extremely rude with me when I stated that their own web site said they did otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time......they hung up......in my opinion that is not the mark of a good trucking company -
It was fun calling Transam to except the job. Now I have to call and tell them that I changed my mind and it sucks. I hope I'm doing the right thing going with Roehl.
-
How long did it take for you to get your call back from roehl? I just put my app in and I'm waiting now.
-
I wouldn't wait for them to call you. Wait a day or so after submitting your app and than call them. Good luck.

The trucks for company drivers are set at 62mph. If you lease your truck, you can roll as fast as you want.
