I just finished up driving school, myself. I still have to finish my training with the company, but I can sure relate to the nervousness. As the days ticked down to when I was supposed to start, I was constantly questioning myself about it. After the first day, however, I felt much much better about everything. The particular school I attended, put us behind the wheel on the range on our very first day. Yours truly was the first student to do it.. lol.. I just sucked it up and went for it.. and surprising did quite well. After that, the nervousness was gone and the excitement set in. It's just a bit overwhelming when you first step out of that comfort zone. Good luck! And although others have already said it, Thanks for serving!! Hey.. just realized that one of my classmates was a Marine as well!

Check on Roehl's Honor Program. I believe it allows you to draw a salary in addition to your GI bill. They are a good company and really like ex-military.
After having one of the toughest jobs in the world....you will have no problem with trucking school! Good luck, and thanks for the service!

you didn't say whether or not you had been to the sand box but i assume you have since you are getting out. If you can put up with this stuff over here you can handel a trucking job. Just remember to get a case of MRE to put under the bunk as emergency rats and then hand on for a ride it will be strange at first but the biggest adjustment you will have is to civilian life not trucking. After beeing a person who is used to jumping every time some one above them yells or says any thing it is going to be hard to stand up and say no when you need to. So buck up Marine you will be great.
