Hello im looking for a radio shop to perform a tune and align on my cobra 29 im in surrey bc and was going to ship it to rolling radios.....good? bad? also does anyone know of cb shops in canada.....seems all the drives up here are on VHF Brian
thats not what i meant, what i ment is there is no CB shops up here......in BC all the truckers use VHF so the mom and pop CB shops are all closed, i have a VHF and i have my ham ticket.......and i found someone to tune and peak my 29
Ok I thought you might have been thinking of some sort of mod to the CB radio .... boy i wish we had a GOOD VHF system for truckers MURS is a start but a poor one ... Ok on ham ticket you can find me on any band from 40 - 3/4 meters Mostly on 2 SSB .... 144.200 mhz
Get a Yaesu FT-2900. 75 watts output works very well with a High gain antenna. And it doesn't break the bank either.
