Did I miss the memo that you are supposed to drive at night with your high beams on all the time while on a 4 lane divided highway? First night-time interstate trip in a long time the other day and it seemed like #### near everybody, 4 wheelers and rigs alike were all driving with their high beams on even when I would get around them they would be shining their high beams in my mirror. Are you supposed to do this nowdays?

this is becoming a huge problem on Snoqualmie pass which i run everyday... i can't stand it i give them the bright flash and most of them turn them off but by then i am blind anywayz and for those behind me the load lights seem to fix them but what happend to common curtisy
-
Man I do not envy you running Snowqualmie in the winter, I don't quite understand the state's theory on snow plowing on that mountain. I've watched a plow plow the road, take the exit, re enter and not bother cleaning up the roadway between the off and on ramps.
-
i know exactly what you mean... and after running it for 4 years now on a regular basis i still get amazed at the super truckers that try to run it when the chain law is up and they spin out then we all have to wait i just don't get it... today coming back the freezing rain was intense and the plows could of atleast put the blade on the ground but i guess that would have been to much to ask....
-
Not just the high beams...what about the "driving lights" that are brighter than the headlights/high beams?!
What purpose are they except to give more light in foggy conditions to help see the fog line....sorry common sense wagon slipped out from under me, couldn't see the edge of the wagon from the lights in my eyes! -
It seems more and more are running with there high beams on and i'am seeing that it's alot more truckers than cars. When i pass and there high beams stay on i just turn on my spotlight and shine it back at them, some get the hint but most just dont care and the people with the driving light drive me nuts.
-
sometimes just the regular low beam lights are bright, making it appear to be the high beams.(my new car is a prime example of this), then you get these 'kids" that put super bright headlights in place of the factory bulbs as well, because they ain't satisfied with what the factory installed.
the other poster said he just shines his spot light at them.....hopefully it's NOT a state trooper he does that to.......that's intentional blinding....
just do as we all learned, turn slightly to the right when this happens from oncoming vehicles. -
Probably just the same morons that flash their brights to tell you to come back over when you pass. I guess they don't realize some of us use our mirrors and don't care for your bright lights in them.

State trooper or not they should have the brains to shut there high beams off when behinded another vehicle, if they get me for intentional blinding they better be giving themsleves a ticket to. The high beams in my mirror are blinding me and makeing it hard to drive. I dont hold it on them i just falsh it so the get the hint. -
I agree, cop or not blind them back. Just because they're a cop doesn't mean they're smart.
If anyone reading this thread flashes your brights when someone passes you or use your brights on the interstate, your an idiot and should hit yourself.
