If a few people would post the warm & fuzzy feeling they had when they eventually recieved a call that their illegal carrier was shut down & their car was locked up at a scale house, USHI* would be done.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Slidding his ### across the side of the car and climbing through the window to get in. LOL. Time for a buff job.
I hauled many cars on my wedge for thousands of miles and never ever had an issue. I did complete inspections preload and postload. Was fully insured to do what I was doing. -
Just how many of those "Cargo trailers" with no names on the side and all and driving odd hours and different states are moving Personal stuff.
The majority on the road are the illegal haulers. -
If you seen the dragged up slug that first came for my car from a "reputable dispatch" you would of sent him packing like I did as well.
Just read a few of the reviews of these firms that people have used, and the circus act that followed,it's change you opinion quickly. -
Nobody was asking a Canadian Carrier to pick up a car and deliver it in the US.
All the companies I contacts were US based. None of them helped in any way to move it, so I went private and it worked out superb. -
As long as it was a private, for-hire, insured carrier (commercial insurance to haul goods), then all is fine.
If not, and they got into an accident due to, say, snow storms, your fancy Toyota would be written off and most likely any insurance would be refused by your insurance company.
You just don't seem to be getting that point. If you do, then I am misunderstanding your vehement defense of your choice. -
Of course he's ignoring the point.
He got the car, delivered, for his cut rate price.
He couldn't care less about what might have happened, because it didn't this time.LBZ, HEAVY DUDE, Yost69 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thought I'd go to the source for I am looking for a reputable person or firm that can move my small Honda S2000 from Las Vegas to Sweetgrass Montana in the coming week.
If you have a enclosed trailer or similar and can do this job timely, without damaging the car, please drop me a line with all the details and price.
I'm awarding this shortly
