    Hey All,

I'm hoping to get some feedback from any of you Foodliner guys that run out of Stockton...I've been talking to Steve up there and would really like to hear from anyone that runs out of the Stockton yard...please.
I've read all the 'bad' stuff on here and another forum...but, everything else about the company is very appealing to me, so, any takes on the company from Cali drivers would be very appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Be safe!

Well, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but, everything I've read about them appears to be true. I sent in my online app. and asked via email if they could mail me the DOT release form since I could not print it out. It said that at the end of the app - if you have trouble printing the DOT form, they will mail one if you ask... so I asked. Mind you, I was really close to pulling the trigger on these guys. I got a call from this chick yesterday, telling me I had to email the DOT form so they could start to process my app. I told her to please mail one since I cannot print one off anywhere. She got indignant, and insisted I go somewhere I can print off the email with the form, they needed it emailed because it takes too long to mail. I told her to mail it, going somewhere else was not an option, she refused. Today, she got an email from me (I copied everyone at Foodliner/Gless that I could find an email for) telling her what I thought of her and to ignore my application to their company... what a c she was... glad I didn't get any farther than the app with these people.:biggrin_25513:

Sorry you had a bad experience Samcro. A little explanation behind the story. Any of you who have applied recently for a trucker job know that you have to have a signed release so the company can run your DAC report and check your work history. Foodliner does the same thing. I did some checking and Samcro is right, the website does say they will mail the release if requested. However, they request that you print the release or get a fax number to receive the release at so they can process your application as quick as possible. It is for the benefit of the driver to get the release in as quickly as possible. Especially in the California market where there are hungry drivers everywhere. If you snooze, some one else will jump in who is willing to put a little effort into getting a job. As always, here to answer any questions.
