Was talking with a couple of guys awhile ago that were going to the local community college to get there CDL. I guess after three different tries they could not pass the permit test.
So after failing there test again on Tuesday they decided to look in the paper for jobs. They came across WE TRAIN DRIVERS add from Central out of Utah. These poor guys made the phone call on Tuesday, and ship out in the morning. They were telling me the recruiter kept asking them over and over would there be anything preventing them from going to Canada.
Myself and my shop kid tried to talk to them about what they are about to do, but sometimes its hard to talk to a rock.
They could not pass test at local school

Sadly, be prepared to see them around the neighborhood pretty soon. The plus is that they will have some really great "they shafted me" stories.

They are "shipping out" just a few miles down the road in Conley, GA. Any idea why they were having trouble passing the test? Skills Test, Road Test, Pre-Trip?

They won't have a snowballs chance in hell! Central's driving test is way more critical then the regular schools! They also require more of their drivers.

And maybe a new $5-7000 loan they still have to repay!!!!!

OK, this is probably a cold thing to say. But since they can't pass the test in the community college, and since they are too stupid to take the hint and go flip burgers, let 'em go to the Central school.
Maybe they will get themselves so screwed up they finally figure out that they don't belong behind the wheel. Sorry, maybe it is just the mood that I'm in right now, but I just don't have any sympathy for them.Flying Dutchman Thanks this. -
From what they told me they were having trouble passing the permit test....

Can they even read?
That was probably the easier part of getting my B license. The A permits weren't any harder either.
