OK...so why greyhound over flying? Airline ticket was cheaper!! Nebraska has such beautiful countryside (sarcasm). I think I'm up to 7 Central trucks for the day.

What the recruiters don't tell you is that, if you buy your own airline ticket they will reimburse you up to the cost of the bus ticket. But the have a deal with greyhound since they use it so much, they get a bulk rate

Airline ticket not cheaper but quicker ( 7hrs compared to 23) well worth the $35 (my cost difference) for the convienence!

Depends on the part of Columbus you are in. I know several places where you can park for the night where nobody will bother you. 2 places right near Kraft.
I was in Columbus this morning. Picked up down the street from kraft at 0800.

I have a whole book full of "hidden places" that we used to find and write down. Those are the best spots!

I mainly have them in areas where parking can be very hard to come by. Like Allentown, Columbus, Chicago.

Oh I gotcha, I didn't know if it was something new the DOT came up with or something, with all these new rules and technology coming out.

What part of the country you at this weekend?

Hey Chrome, remember that little yard Central had just south of Columbus? That was a good little quiet place. We would drop there and bobtail up to the Olive Garden and come back for a peaceful nights rest. Of course it wasn't often we got to stop like that. Actually we were usually waiting for another driver to switch loads when we went to that drop yard. Anybody know if Central still has it?

hey guys, checkin in. Delivering tomorrow morning in Morris, IL at Costco, then got 2 presets that take me to Gary, IN to Iowa then finally western NY. Got some work cut out for me over the next few days. Gonna end with a 3700 mile week (some of it is rollover)
