Actually pretty good. Of course I live just South of Fort Worth and getting a load home or Tcalled to Wilmer isnt a problem. I generally go home about every three weeks most of the time I arrive on the day I requested. Sure glad to see ET's thread still alive and well. I lurked here for about 3 months before heading to school learned a lot from the guys here before the trainer got a hold of me.

In my own case it took about a week and a half before I got a call from Lincoln. This was Oct 09, I was brand new out of school and spent ten weeks with a trainer. Five hundred a week and after I got my own truck .33pm until this past Nov when they bumped me to .39pm. I recall my trainer having had some guys that needed to brush up having been out of trucking for a while, he spent about 4 weeks with them. Base on what you said I would think you have a better than average chance of getting onboard here and starting at .39 or more cpm. First I heard of the dedicated though.

I should have said "home weekly" instead of dedicated. Sorry to give out bad info.

Sure do hope I can get on. Tired of being laid off from one place after another.

Took me three or four business days to get my rejection letter. Not sure how long it takes if you get approved.

Rejected four months ago and just got an email last week telling me they are looking for drivers. Struck me as funny, although I understand that I'm just on some mailing list for them since I applied. I'll give them another try in a few years, when I leave the job I have now, since I'll better meet their qualifications.

95% of the time if you see a red truck pulling a reefer it is a reefer driver who just happened to be assigned a red truck. I'm a Crete driver and in almost 3 years I have pulled a reefer twice.

It's coming. I've been running elog unofficial since 09/09 and full time official since 11/10.

I can do enough basic math to know that ET will take a hit.

So how do you like e-logs? Most guys that I have talked to seem to like them because its keeps up to the minute instead of logging everthing in 15 min slots?

It takes away some things that I've always counted on, the 8 minute pee break at a rest area that can be legally logged as a 15 minute break, etc. I've always logged legal so it hasn't cost me too much. I dislike the lack of trust that elog implies, but when the drunk kills himself on my truck I know that I will not be facing hard time.
