Does anyone know the (cubic yards) of the East Genesis Hybrid trailer?

Most places don't care about axle weight just gross. But assuming where you load does care, will they be loading you by excavator? If not you gotta put the body up to shake off excess weight and until you get it down your gonna have your load shift puttin you over on trailer tandems even though your gross is ok.

 

Around here most won't let you out only if you're over 80,000. 90% or more of the endloaders have scales on them, but the operator thinks they're better than the scale, horribly inconsistant. "Wetter material" or "more fines" they say...still, 22 tons of feathers weights the same as 22 tons of bricks.

But most of the time I'm pulling a 22' steel tub trailer, 73,280 gross limit. It gets trickier to axle properly the shorter you go.

 

If your worried about axle weights, a spread is the only way to go. Makes loading almost fool proof. When I had a belly dump a guy I ran with traded his tandem dump for a spread and the cop with the portable scales joked with him and asked "you trying to put me out of a job"

 

just out of curiosity i pull a a 39x60 square mac dump , what would the yardage be , never been asked but you never know it might come in handy one day thanks.

 

It will depend on overall width of the trailer and the type of construction the walls are made of. If it's a smooth side then it will have 2" thick walls. If it's a post and sheet trailer then the walls are 4" thick

Post and sheet trailer

39 x 60" x 96" = 52.96 cubic yards

39 x 60" x 102" = 56.57 cubic yards

Smooth side trailer

39 x 60" x 96" = 55.37 cubic yards

39 x 60" x 102" = 58.98 cubic yards
