I went there last Saturday. I saw the same. A repeat of the storm wrecks after the holidays. And the one that went off the ravine, that was a repeat of the fourwheeler that landed on a tree last month. I'm sorry it was a 18-wheeler. :biggrin_25513:

Always bad wrecks thru there, especially around snowshoe - trucks run 90+ thru there late night.

Those curves must sneak up on them? :biggrin_2554:

Light enforcement, no scales usually open.

I saw remnants of these wrecks today. Saw where the guard rail was missing. I didn't want to see what was on the other side of it.

On I-84 there is a 45mph double curve (in PA) where there were 2 trailers on their side.

Also saw (on I-80) where a Central Transport truck ran off the road but was able to stop in time before going over the side before the bridge.

Oh and I dunno if any of you saw or heard of this: on I-80 EB today there was a big truck who was half on the shoulder, half in the right lane BACKING UP on the Interstate to get to a crossover to turn around. I had the joy of coming up on that and how nice of him to do this just over the top of a hill.

Quick note: one of the rolled over trailers on I-80 still had the 5th wheel attached to the trailer. The truck was several yards away. The 5th wheel decided it wanted to stay on the trailer though. That had to be an awful wreck...
