not in the same league...yes i realize averitt is in ltl..but if you are hauling
truckload freight you go to one dock and deliver to another dock..what is
the difference.. you must be new at averitt because you sound like that
you have been brain washed.. dont worry i was brain washed for a while too... averitt is just like jb hunt,us express, werner...whoever they are a
truckload company..they pay eagle miles just like everybody else...the only difference is that they have cheaper insurance and better benefits..
but if you look at everything else there is no difference...take my advice
get into ltl...yes averitt has a ltl division which isn't bad.. i worked all over
the company but they still don't pay like everybody else. they are about
10 cents below other ltl company's....

 

No to both assertions. Not new and not brainwashed.
I don't have any firsthand experience with J.B, US or Werner, but from what I know of those outfits, I find it a stretch to find any similarities at all.
Especially when at least two of those still pay in the 20s and keep their drivers out a month or so at a time.
You obviously have a problem with AE, but if you have really worked there, you know they are not in the same category with those starter companies.
