Leasing a truck from the same people you get your work from is almost always a recipe for disaster,..

I was talking to a JR Schugel lease driver on Christmas and he said he was only making enough money to cover the truck payments. Didn't make enough to leave any for himself. Now that is something to think about.

I saw one of their lease drivers at Christmas also.

He had a large iron pot, and was ringing a bell for donations !!!!!

I just talked to a guy that did a lease purchase with a company and said he wasn't making a dime and he owed them $11K and he was with that company less than a year. He said they keep telling him it would get better but he keep getting pay stubs that say -$$$

There is a company in wisconsin that will sell you a truck of your choice no money down and no credit check and give you a list of companies to lease on with it all looked good on paper and the payments were not bad for a new one but after you figured all the cost per month you only pocketed about 400.00 a week based on a 2500 mile week

they might tell you how much you CAN EARN in a week....then you start subtracting from there. also, they said "for everything", make sure that also includes fee's for them getting you freight as well....or using thier trailers (rental fee's), or PM services when you are on the road....

a lease to own plan almost never let's YOU make any money...you are basically making those truck payments for them, so they can turn around, spritz it with water to get off the road dust, and lease it out to the next victim......

in other words, stay away from lease plans...
