That whole area becomes a death trap during the winter for several reasons.......people driving too fast for conditions and the fact that they can't keep the #### road very clean. Up there 2 inches of build up can turn that area into a skating rink

In the noon news report, they said the tractor took a 100 foot plunge into the lake. That's a long drop.
-
Did they have footage? Milwaukee's reporting the cab was hanging over the guardrail. They say the trailer went into the lake. Which is good - I couldn't see surviving a fall from that bridge.
-
No video on it at this point on their site. I'll have to check some of the other news sites here. The tractor went into the water, but they did manage to rescue the two people in the truck.
No video available yet, but there probably will be later today. They have to get everything together for the evening news broadcasts. -
I droped of my load in Green Bay this morning, then picked up a 12,000 lb load right after. I could not get any traction at all. I just parked it untill tommorow it looks like. I was going to drop south on us41 to wi26 to us151 to Madison, looks like i made the right choice. Its very slick up here too.

Definitely a good choice there Stump. We live near Columbus and Beaver Dam along US 151, and that road is not in good shape.

See, checking this webpage does pay off....

It sure does! Schools all over the place are closing early, and the Winter Weather Advisory goes until 6 PM, Midnite, or 3 AM depending on the part of the state. Southeast goes the longest.
