I see evo I and II are out with a trainer for road time. But evo III it says you have your own truck and are on your own except you have a fleet coach on the other end of the satellite helping you for 4-6 weeks. Then it's on to the power of red.

What's evoIII?? When you finish evoIII do you get paid more or is it just the last stage of training but you really are on your own?? Im kinda confused.

Evo III you are on your own and I beleive getting full pay. You will have a fleet coach you can talk to with any questions etc. Only thing that changes once evo III is done I don't believe you have fleet coach anymore.

Am sure a few other's will ring in on this, incase I have told you something incorrectly. But I believe that's how it works.

Yeah...you are on your own in Evo 3....you just have a fleet manager that has a smaller amount of drivers under him so you can call him more with questions and he has the time to work you through things.

mcarpe is right. EVO 3: you are solo, on mileage with a coach for 4-6 weeks

ok thanks guys I have to get my application out there to Roehl. My top two choices are Roehl and Schneider.

Do they really get you home in between evo I and evo II or do they just put you up at a hotel while your trainer gets to go home?

So basically I can be on my own in about 30 days from the start of orientation?

Yup, thats how they did it with me. Got to spend the night in a motel in Texas until my second trainer came and picked me up.

thank you for the responses guys. talked to recruiter today....told me since i live in ct he doesn't have any trainers that go up this way so he would have me go to either Georgia or Wisconsin to train for 8 days and they would put me up in a hotel for those 8 days then test. Then i would go with a trainer out on the road for 10-13 days then i would come back and test out...get assigned truck...

said they would fly me out to that's great. i really think i should take advantage of this. i am going to let him know by monday.

Do it....Roehl is in my opinion the best place for someone to start. I've had plenty of bumps and stress along the way but its still a great starting point.
