Objects being thrown from bridges ...

    Interstate 75, Town of Ackworth, Bartow County, Georgia

    a bicycle and other unknown objects thrown from the overpass that carries Groovers Landing Road above I 75. Two tractor trailers have been hit along with a four wheeler who was the subject of a news story.

    The overpass is between Mile Marker 278 and 283 but just a little more than one mile west / northwest of Mile Marker 278 By my guess, it's in the Mile Marker 279.3 location.

    Here's a map of the area. The red star is a house on Groovers Landing Road. Follow that road to the northwest and you will see where Groovers Landing Road crosses over I 75. It's at that bridge.

    Here in Maine a woman was severely injured when kids dropped a cinderblock through her windshield, supposedly they were bored and thought this was a good thing to do?

    In the early 70's , i remember the 2 legged animals throwing televisions as well as small refridgerators off of overpasses on the cross bronx expressway.

    Pumpkins on Halloween night and other objects. I don't drive after dark on 2 nights! New Years Eve and Halloween! Ain any freight worth the risk and my last dispatcher I had for years agreed!
