Over the past year, I was going to college and pretty much bounced from one job to another. I've been turned down by a few companies because my job history isn't as stable as they wanted it to be. Does anyone know any companies that aren't as picky about it?

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

With all the terrorist garbage and security issues these days that is getting harder and harder to find. Look to small companies or owner operators

When I first got into trucking, about 12 years ago, I had been in and out of college many times and worked so many different jobs I couldn't remember them all. I think my job history was like 6 pages long. C.R. England hired me first, and then after I got some experience USxpress hired me. I'm sure those probably aren't your first choices.

If possible go see the employer in person, tell them why and sell yourself, give them your good points and what you are looking for ,for a living and what you need now,go forward, never back, just look back every now and then and be thankful how far you have gone. You will find that job, just believe in yourself.

England actually turned me down for that same reason, so did Swift. ####, and I thought these companies might be the less picky ones. It doesn't matter now, though. I got hired on by a local company driving a concrete mixer, so I'll stay on there for a few years and reapply to some OTR companies. Might have to take a refresher course, but I'm willing to do that.
