All I ask for is a company with no quailcom and no stupid fuel program. Just give me my truck, a cell hone and a credit card and let me do my job!!!

Is that too much to ask for?

    okay, I'm done. Sorry

nope, not too much at all. you were (probably) looking at the bigger companies....right...??

aren't there any LTL companies in your area, or maybe a company that has owner-operators that need drivers...??

Come on down here and work with me.

You get the card, meals and hotel.... Thre's one catch though.. You gotta move to KY...:biggrin_25525:

Medicine Man, You are sooo funny sometimes.

Besides, You know you want atleast 3 of those Qualcomm thingies in your truck. One for a paperweight, one for a boot brush, and the last one with an extra long cord, so you can pull 4 wheelers out of the ditch with it...

I used one at one time. I found it to be very annoying, however, was a great substitute for a wheel chock.

ya, mostly bigger ones which I know is the main problem. I'm getting ready to move from WI to TX and my bank wants proof that I will be employed in TX so I'm having to think about taking a job that will let me keep working there even after I move. That's the major reason for the bigger co's.

Hell with them all. I'm going to get my own authority back. I just don't think I can handle working for 98% of the companies out there anymore. That's the hardest thing about being an owner operator..... It's SO hard to go back to working for someone else.
