thank you for that site. so how do you get the dot # for the companies. sorry if it sounds like a stupid question. also how do they come up with things like "driver fitness"?
-
If you go to advanced search on that link I posted you can just type in the carrier name and it will pull up their information. Click on "driver fitness" to view the violations, then you will understand.
-
the dot numbers are also on the sides of every commercial truck

I certainly hope it all works out, I am totally happy here, I would highly recommend them to any CDL graduate, I have been getting good miles and like it here. Make it work for you. Be Good. TD24

I don't know about other terminals, but the KY has Regional runners...I'm actually hoping to get one of those gigs but they require you're out of the probation period first...The pay is MUCH better also with ALL weekends home and some weeknights!!!!...
-
12 of the 24 "fitness" inspections were for not having the medical card on you, but not for not having a valid card...Yes, you're suppose to carry it, but having one and not having it on you is much different than not having one at all...Those are just stupid mistakes for not having it on you..
Now operating a CMV without a CDL seems more serious, how that could happen is kind of a head scratcher...
But under Investigation Result Details you see: No serious violation(s) discovered -
how do you, or who do you talk to to get into the regional and/or dedicated runs? even local. im happy otr, for now, but ultimately i do want to be home more so i can do stuff like have a house, im already looking at grabbing a new car here this summer.
i see those qcomms from time to time about open positions, i know one was for sayreville or something but that was a couple months ago now.
my thing is I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THIS COMPANY to go local. i have hated pretty much every company i have ever worked for, to find one that i not only can stand but rather enjoy working with is not something im in a hurry to give up haha. plus theres the tuition reimbursement which for me will keep going for 2.5 years. -
for local i would guess you would talk to your local terminal manager?

pretty sure i would rather do regional week out weekends off-ish than local. i just meant i would take it if it opened up haha.
