Any Epes Transport drivers here?

Reading the other thread it looks good except the 63 mph trucks.
BUT with hourly pay...not that big of deal...

 

Well,My respect for Epes went out the window!
They pulled the bait and switch.

I talked to them Friday afternoon and they were getting all of my paperwork completed.
They went over the local position,the hours,rate of pay,ect..

Got a call Monday morning from the same guy that everything was good to go and they would see me next Monday at orientation.

I said GREAT!,,see you there.
I then asked about what hotel they used and told him i was only 100 miles away and would drive my car up.

He got silent......then finally said "how are you going to get your car home?"

I said why,The job is based here where i live and the trucks are already here....He got silent again then finally said we are hiring you for OTR.

I was thinking WTF!
What happened to the local job i was offered Friday? He said it was no longer available! ( They filled it over the weekend?) Doubt it!

BS!!! Man,I would have been pissed if i went up there and done 3 days of orientation just to find out the job was not available!

I told him thanks for wasting my time filling out page after page of paperwork,all the phone calls and emails..... and have a nice day!

They can keep OTR in a 63 mph truck! NOT for me!
