i owned a couple petes then got smart kw all the way.

-
I maintain that my Mack is classier than Pete & KW combined. :smt077
-
Oh no, no Volvo's for me. Would hate to keep opening bank accounts to store all the extra money I'd be raking in so I'm sticking with KW.
-
You might be right but I would hate to stare at that dogs butt all day.
-
Yea
That tax problem would be tough

I'm a true KW fan but I have to admit I like my AG380 suspension on my truck which came from Peterbilt (Flex Air) and I wish Kenworth would get a better heating system. I've owned 2 KW's and both of them I've had to crank the Defrost up all the time so I could see out my side windows. Maybe they should just sneak over to the Pete factory and steal their heating system when no one is looking.

Of the trucks that I work on I gotta go with pete all the way. Where iI work we got a fleet of 34 trucks, all pete's except 1 Mack and 1 Western Star. and honestly if I was gonna drive and not wrench it would be the in the Star, not one of the Peterbilts. That being said I also work for a small local company on the side that has 3 newer W900L's and from a mechanics standponit they are a nightmare compared to the pete's that we have, I will say that they are quieter inside compared to most of the petes we have at work, but torture to work on. Seems everything is more crammed on the KW, much more of a pain to work on. Hard part reliability cant be blamed on KW or Pete IMO seeing how theyre both component built, personaly I think its all how the truck is specd out. Yhats why i like the Star
. remember the best truck is the one that makes the most money
