NHTSA- i just read they posted on jan. 3rd a notice asking to limit speed of trucks to 68mph. if this happens it will cause so many traffic mishaps (in my opinion) and back ups you wont be able to get anything done on a day to day basis.

Will most likely not be a problem.
Most of the companies will not raise their trucks so half will be slower. -
i see a problem every day i run the speed limit havent had a ticket in 15yrs example prime, swift, pumpkin,to name a few run slower than the posted speed really have to watch you dont run over one. then the ones that get out to pass and cant because they are limited to a certain speed. sure does back up traffic!

Life goes on. We have to deal with it.
Just like the 4 wheelers have to when a truck pulls out. -
nope im not one to politic but this isnt going to work. when im told to deal with it i get fired up. thats whats wrong today they pass all these new regs. some good some just make no sence at all. this is one of them i havent done it in a while but i guess ill email my congress rep and see what that does.(taking a deep breath now calming down)

My truck is not governed. I have to deal with ALL of the other trucks who think they should be passing. I deal with it.
I am sorry it makes you so riled, but I do not even worry anymore. -
im not really mad at them for trying to govern trucks im mad because we all wont stick together and fight these beauracrates that have no idea what they are doing to the trucking industry.
-
Well actually the speed limit is a range of speed from the minimum speed that a vehicle must do up to the maximum posted speed. It is your job to be prepared for any vehicle running under the posted maximum.
-
huh? im talking about a top limit speed of 68 for all trucks.
