Hello everyone!

I had just recently gotten my class A license after havin a B for a while. I started working with fedex ground back in november till i realized that theres no career path there since the workers own their routes and trucks which from what i learned is a big scam. also i was tired of working 11-14 hour days with only 8 hours of pay since drivers hired by the contractors r salary based.

So after talking to some other people from different companies i had found out its time to leave, so in december i started workin on my class A. I had recently taken my road test two weeks ago and also have doubles/triples, haz-mat and tank endorsements.

I just got a job with con-way freight which im starting in two weeks and im very very excited, especially since I was the person they decided to hire and being the youngest interviewed for the position only being 22. I wanted to find more about the company and came across this site so after reading some forums i decided to sign up

 

thx everyone, actually thats how i found this forum from looking for more info on con-way. I saw good things and bad things but thats almost every job now and with todays job market id would rather just deal with the bad
