Thanks. I don't think I'll have a problem with my glasses as they really don't get dark enough in the first place. That's another reason I normally wear contacts and a really good pair of sunglasses. I found out my brother has been wearing contacts that you wear for a month and then throw away. Doesn't even take them out. I plan on going to see the same Dr. and see if I can get some of them........but it will have to wait till I see come income first.....

That "star Wars" trick was funny as hell... I am from Texas and have seen snow accumulate maybe 10 times in the 40 years I have been living.

#1 ... You just freaked out 99.999% of the men on this board.
(that's FUNNY to me, cause it doesn't bother me in the least.)

#2 ... You may wish to NOT take on male trainees because they would eventually "freak" and could get mad about something and make some really damaging claims toward you.
(which is not funny, and is pretty sad)

#3 ... I trained women, and prefer them too.
    (no, not for THAT reason)
They are easier to train, less rough on equipment, and generally easier to get along with.
I used to work 48 and 72 hour shifts, in the middle of nowhere, with a female partner... and never had a problem.
But there was ALWAYS someone making comments about us sleeping in same building.

BUT.... (yeah, always one of those)
Where you will have a problem is that in the eyes of the company LAWYERS you still have the "tools" to do damage. And they won't take a chance on a sexual harrassment suit.

Women would probably be your best bet; not sure too many dudes will be willing to share closet space with you once they find out which way your trolley runs....but in this industry - I'd keep my mouth shut and your hands to yourself, if you know what I mean...Obama and his agenda haven't trickled down to the basic truck driver level quite yet.....

    Just sayin'.....

Wouldn't even bother - It will get to the point where you won't hear it anymore - along with the other assorted truckstop noises. Plus, if you are fortunate enough to have an APU hanging off the side of your tractor, that will provide enough white noise for you to be able to sleep soundly...

    'Least it does for me!
