What do you know about super service??

    im trying to get some info: on a company out of grand rapids,mi the name of the company is called SUPER SERVICE,,,,, i went to rip off report.com and found nothing.that was a good thing (i think,,no news is good news)

    they approved me for the orientation class on 1-31-11 im not felling the dreaded greyhound bus ride to grand rapids,mi (18 hours from nyc) but they are starting me out with .38 mile and its all regin: loads ill be running NE regin:

    so if anyone knows anything about them let me know... but what lil i do know is they bought the company from another compoany that filed chapther11...... idk...:biggrin_2557:

    It's an OTR company so they probably suck.. If you live in Glenndale, NY why in the world would you even consider an OTR job?? You have all the air freight and cartage options there on top of the LTL and parcel companies.. Last time I checked UPS had like 59 NYC locations..

    Smitty they are owned by the company Gainey you can find information about them in the trucking company DACs in the motor carrier inside scoop section. Good luck!

    No longer owned by Gainey but by a investment firm. Super Service was a division of Gainey but since the bankruptcy and purchase of the entire company by the investment firm the Gainey name has been dropped and everything is being relabeled Super Service.

    Do a search for Gainey here and you will find plenty.

    I worked for Super Service for 5 years and never had a problem they are a pretty good company as far as having respect for the drivers and pay what they are supposed to when they are supposed to but sometimes you set waiting on a load depending on where you are at. you do get home pretty regular you just have to remind your dispatcher when you are ready.
