At my company we run 2007 Pete 379's with Caterpillar engines and we used to not slip seat trucks. Since we have started to one of our drivers has done something to his truck so it will not start. The tractors were purchased together so the keys start any truck but now all of a sudden when you go to start his this is what happens you turn the key all the power comes on radio, heat, etc. but when you turn it all the way nothing happens. Does anyone know what he could be doing to make it not start ?

Check for a "non-connection" at the starter...perhaps he has placed a cap on the connector and removes it when he does his pre-trip in the morning.

Is there such a thing as an ignition fuse?
-
Probably took out a breaker in the fuse box...
-
Sounds like he disabled the ignition circuit to the starter solenoid

Look under the clutch pedal. He might have put something under it so it doesn't go all the way to the floor.

back when i had 3 trucks in the 80's i had a driver that got sick so i put a guy in the truck while he was out and he came back to work and told me he didn't want anybody in HIS truck........told him when he looks at the side of the door it has MY name on it and if he don't like it theres the door...never a peep after that
