Colored glasses?

Here in the pacific NW, I found that brown tint works best for me. My glasses are "photobrown" prescription with an anti-glare coating. Cuts thru road spray and glare nicely.

 

Rose , they just make everything better.

Seriously I have been told to make sure they filter out the whole invisible blue spectrum (not only UV) as this is responsible for eye fatigue.

 

the best sunglasses I ever had were serengetti 'drivers' they had a brown tint, and cut all the glare.I'm going back to them next time.
As for the yellow,I tried a cheap pair years ago and never really like them. Just didn't care for everything being bright yellow, jmho.

 

If you're looking for night glasses to cut the glare then you can get a regular pair of lenses and have the coating put on them to reduce glare. No color just clear lenses and you're good to go. Just think of the different styles you can get! LOL

 

For sunglasses I use cheapees from Pacific Coast Sun. The KD's with orange lens for day. It cuts sun glare and works good in snow. They are a little dark for night so I use the yellow. They are $8 a pair. I buy several at a time if they get lost, scratched or broke no biggie.

 

my 2 cents, i like polarized amber tints the best. when i was working my up to semi-pro in the angling circuits, i found that they worked the best for me in low light conditions as well bright shiny days

 

Try yellow at night when driving in the fog. You'll find them extremely useful.

 

I have used Photo grey lenses for years,however they do not function behind a windsheild.A good pair of perscription sunglasses worked well for me.If you dont need glasses then there are several good sunglasses available,but they aint cheap.
