Revoked License question

Look you have alot of old stuff, Most companies really care about is the last 3 years, I take it you have been out of a truck for over 4 years is more of a problem than the tickets. 4 and 5 year old stuff should not keep you from driving. Your issue is no OTR recently.

 

Well the problem is I am straight out of CDL school, and no one will give me the shot. I have applied to about all of the big names. I waited until all of the points were off my License to get the CDL, and that was still not enough. Do not know what else I can do. I have done just about all I can. Except ask for a presidential pardon.

 

I am not understanding something here... All that stuff from '05 and '06 has fallen off your record right? How would a company even know about it?

I think there are quite a few of us here that would equate your "behaviour" with something more than a nervous breakdown.

I can tell you that many LEO's would have you in cuffs and on the way to have blood drawn.

What you describe is CLASSIC signs of "bad road dope".
I'm pretty sure DOT, DMV, and companies would see it the same way.

You will likely need PROOF you were not under the influence at the time, as well as a psychological evaluation, before anyone will be willing to turn you loose in a truck again.

 

Insurance companies go back 7 to 10 years in some cases.
Especially for suspensions.

Behave for 4 or 5 more years, then try again.

 

Last place I worked a driver had to have less than two major violations within 60 months. 15 over was a major. Also No violations more than 20 over so you would be prohibited until the last ticket was over 60 months old...It stinks because of the way it is listed, all of these could be under 15mph over BUT the insurance won't budge since they all could be +24...

Now if you could come back w/ court records or copies of the tickets showing they all were less than +14 over it could be sent to the insurance for approval...Since you have so many that could be that far over, most safety departments won't give you a 2nd look let alone work with you to get you approved. They get too many guys without all that baggage.

Hiring someone who does not met the insurance companies limits places the company at risk should you have an accident as the insurance company could decline to cover it...most companies won't risk this.
