*edit* Oh, a BR check wasnt run. The man I spoke with just asked questions and I answered them. Although I thought it might not show up if a check were run, I wasnt going to lie to them. Do you know something I dont? -
Contact the jurisdiction where you had this record and see what the status is. If it's sealed and/or expunged then I would give yourself a break, call Roehl again speak to Carrie or someone other than that guy you talked to before or apply online.
I can see if you were an adult when you had the theft conviction but you were a kid. Give it another shot before walking away.
Also I would do the same with any other company you look into.

According to the woman I spoke to, its on my record forever. Im going to call my local PD and see if theres any truth to that.
