Running machines than game machines
I have been a professional truck driver for just over one year.
Believe it or not, my legs are weakening already.
I try to walk whenever I have extra time, but it is not easy.
It's really boring walking in the truck stop yard that is noisy, dirty, and toxicated by pollution .
There are game machines and driver's lounges to watch TV at most of the truck stops.
Why not provide running machines or weight lifting health equipments?
I'd like use it even if I have to pay for it.
I'm worried about my body's health and fitness.
I want to maintain a healthy body for as long as I am driving a truck.
I suggest to all truck stop owners to provide running machines than game machines.

That's an interesting idea, Wolf. They probably don't do it because of liability. But I wonder why some of the nationwide truck stop chains don't consider adding small gym facilities, which could be funded by use or membership fees good at any of their locations.
The gym I belonged to was a small one-room affair... two treadmills, a rowing machine, two stationary bikes, and a bunch of weight benches. Didn't take up much room, and for $25/month, it fit the budget. Makes me wonder if something like that could fly at a truck stop...? -
I like this idea, I would consider even joining a membership type thing to have this readily available for drivers to use.

Excellant Idea!
Small exercise room at truck stop with membership
This will be good for us and good for them too
Now, how to approach to them with this idea, and how to convince them
Any idea? -
Drivers give me wierd looks when I start doin laps in the parking lot to get a little exercise. I got back in the truck after a good 45 min session of "hot-laps" when the hand next to me motioned me to roll down my window and told me "they" were talking about the wierdo walking around the parking lot looking for his truck. I just laughed it off.
