No fuel pressure in a 98 pete with a 3406E motor. If I let the truck set any longer than 4 days I loose the pressure in the fuel system. Ive changed 2 check valves on the filter housing. My lines are all good, no leaks. Im changing the splitter valve tomorrow. Idont think its an injector because it dont smoke when I start it up. Any suggestions? Thanks
No pressure in fuel system after sitting idle for 5 days

The fuel is contained between the pressure /return check valve, and the transfer pump if you have no priming pump. If you have a priming pump then the check valves contain it also. Unless you are getting fuel in the oil it has nothing to do with the injectors.
After you shut the truck down, with a fuel pressure gauge installed, remove the return line, if it dribbles then that is the problem area. If it is good no dribbling then remove the suction line off the fuel transfer pump. If it is draining back then, it is the problem.
Just a thought!gonzo01 Thanks this.
