Don't drive for this company unless you don't mind never getting a paycheck.........Don't drive for this company..Don't drive for this company..Don't drive for this company
Equipment is old and the trailer I had was unlicensed with no permits. They are less then truthful about everything, when I insisted on them getting legal, they wouldn't ~~~~ So I Quite ~~~~. They never paid me all the $$$$ I was due and still owe me around 3K. They try and make you run on your own $$$$ and pay for there tolls WT Tickets ect... Then come pay voucher time, they put in advances that were never given to the driver, and confuse the the trips paperwork and say they never got the receipts, so your paycheck is not correct. Direct Deposit was either late or never made and I never did get paid on time. ( Now I have the Labor Board involved ). Again, They were less than truthful about everything. When I had an issue they would promise to call me back and never ... never... never did. Just an absolute nightmare experience, that put my finances into a tailspin. The 4 office people including owner, were rude, disrespectful and unprofessional from the beginning. Unbelievable how they thumb there nose at the law!!!
They run there loads on % of gross, but never give you the gross! Unbelievable Experience. Horrible dispatch and support and its not 24/7

$70.000 a year divided by 52 weeks is $1,346.00 a week!
I never made that in the total month I worked for them!
We all have financial obligations and when an employee is expecting around $1,346.00 a week! and gets $300.00, this becomes a financial problem real quick.
I ran over 10,000 miles in that month. the low end for an experienced driver is .36 cents a mile.
You do the math!
Very nasty and disrespectful attitudes at this company !!!

Unbelievable how they thumb there nose at the law!!!
-
"The Law" may very well blow them "out" of their nose..
-
I wonder if they are tied to Bayless Const. That outfit ripped me off on a house I was putting up.

10-4, golf9iron. You are correct in all that you say. I test drove for them. All kinds of red flags. My gut was screaming "GET OUT." My walk around found numerous maint. issues. Bald tires, non-working lights, ect. The truck had just been purchased and was a total POS. Road hard and put away wet. Two friends of mine worked for the construction side of that company. They also told me to run away. Also, while filling out an application, a driver walked in all ticked off about reimbursements and pay.
A fine example of how not to run your company. Makes a mega carrier look good at this point hahaha. (not)! -
golf9iron AKA Mr. David ...In response to your many posts....We were generous enough to give you an advance before you ever left our yard....Our "old" trucks are all Pete 379 extend a hoods (large cars), I am sorry that you do not like our style of truck (you would probably be happier driving a "fuel saver" with a larger company, I understand)...I am sorry that you did not take the initiative to ensure that all of your proper paperwork was in your truck before leaving with your load (I will remind you that our policy requires that in your pre trip inspection)...As far as your paycheck is concerned, I have a paper signed by you, David, that you agree that you received and agreed to the amount of your last paycheck and all due reimbursements... I also have a paper signed by you and I both that all paperwork has been turned in..I can also provide comcheck numbers with your signature endorsing all advances that you had taken... We have received our CSA 2010 audit and passed without any issues, the Department Of Transportation doesn't think we are ignoring the law in any way...You only worked for us for 4 weeks at which time you received PAID training and an average of $1,000 a week (I can provide you with copies of your pay stubs since you obviously misplaced them). If your finances are in a "tailspin" I am certain they were already that way before you started with us (4 weeks of paid work would not have a great impact)...My response to the citations noted,, If you know of a trucking company with a large amount of trucks with absolutely no citations (our company has never been in an accident or put anyones life into jeopardy), I highly encorage you to go apply with them and stop slandering us...But I guarantee that they will "thumb there nose" at you abandoning there load....AND Quit does not have an E at the end of it!!

We are a Trucking company not a construction company...Last edited by a moderator: Feb 1, 2011

If you had an audit, then there had to have been problems. Just sayin.
-
Bullhaulerswife....The CSA 2010 Crackdown, they are auditing everyone big or small reason or not..I'm surprised you haven't heard of that yet..
Best Regards -
Their ad says "UP to $70,000 a year". There is no guarantee in that phrase.
Bayless Trucking Thanks this. -
Also, Bayless Trucking. He didnt slander you. If it is in print then that is libel. If he says it then that is slander...just saying.
