I have heard bits and pieces about civilians driving in war zones and such, even northern driving a bit. Anybody know anything or any links to such places? Would love to be put into a position where I am able to really push myself to and beyond my limits. Death aint a really concern of me, frenched kissed the grim reaper more times than I count on my fingers and toes he dont want me. Extra cash, living tottally on the edge, doing a job most are afraid to do, ets....... really really appeals to me. To old and to much of a past for military. Any links or knowledge would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Yea I've looked into this allot, in fact when I got my CDL at 18 the school told me thats what I should do (iraq) because I was young and they couldnt find me a job...

I also know a few drivers that have been or are currently over there. My freinds dad has been doing it for 6 years....

here's some good info for ya:

this is a KBR convoy that was ambushed, the truck drivers over there try to run with the military for protection but the Military does NOT have to protect them, they will not put there mission in jepordy for the truck drivers...as you can see in this video the army guys just keep going...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5mGjWVhypw

these are the KBR drivers that are now umemployed thanks to El Presidente Obama, just one more reason to hate him:

Slideshow of a guys time as a KBR driver in 2008:

    another ambush video:

theres allot more like these just go to YouTube and type in KBR Drivers. These guys put there lives at risk everyday, and are not allowed to carry weapons. They are not allow to have military radios in there trucks so they have NO way to communicate or ask for help. They are paid very well for what they do and are treated VERY good by the military.

Think long and hard about it......

Heard they have hundreds of Filipinos, East Indians, and other allied nations's drivers pretty much taking all the former driving jobs at a fraction of the cost.

Don't even think an American CDL is required, as long as you can drive, and handle the rig under pressure.

Just second hand and what I've gathered from former drivers in the Middle East.

Western out of CO. has an armored rig division. Check them out. Personally I think downtown LA is bad enough for me.
