Hazmat endorsement

    i'm on the hazprints site since I want my Hazmat endorsement, but it asking me if im applying for (H) hazardous materials or (X) hazmat and tankers, i already have my tankers endorsement, sorry for the stupid question just dont want to pay $90 and choose the wrong one. so which one is the correct choice,thanks guys

    Call your local DMV they should be able to tell you I would think or find out if there are any FAQ's on the site regarding that issue

    I would think that if you want to haul hazmat tankers you better pick X.

    If you already have the N endorsement and get the H endorsement it gets converted to X. This is all done automagically by your DMV. Go with H.

    T has nothing to do with it....T is doubles/triples.

    N is tanks.

    The fact is it still gets converted to an X it you have one and get the other.

    Just looked on my license. I have tankers, doubles/triples/hazmat. What I have listed is T-Doubles/Triples X-Placarded Hazmat & Tank Vehicles.

    So, I stand corrected.
