hey i just came across this forum searching for driving careers. im 23. i started driving dump trucks for a construction company when i was 19. since then i have got some good experience with flatbeds too.

i have a very strong passion for trucks. im hoping to learn a lot here so i can make the right decisions when i find a job going otr. i enjoy driving trucks more than i have ever enjoyed any hobby, so i cant wait to someday be able to drive the same one everyday

Welcome. When you really enjoy your job you'll never "work" a day in your life.

yea i hear ya. i think with any job, ur bound to get burnt out to some extent. when i get in the truck in the mornin at work, i feel more at home than i do when i actually get home in the evening haha.

at my cdl training, i was the only student that was there because i wanted to drive. everybody else was there just saw it as another job. which really worked out in my favor because the instructors picked up on that. one instructor really spent extra time with me taught me more than i ever thought i could learn in a brief amount of time
