healthy food, exercise on the road?

So YOU'RE the one? I knew there had to be at least one dispatcher who cared about their drivers. I know I've never met one but there had to be one out there somewhere.

 

Sounds like you are a good DM - I bet you get the most out of your drivers - probably because you care - I'm not out there yet - but I will say Thank you!!

 

I am a semi-pro bodybuilder and an aspiring trucker, it's going to be interesting to see how that works out.. You guys have space to carry dumbbells? Maybe on your rest periods you can go for a nice run.. Could just get a workout in while resting and go to walmart for food..

Oh and if you guys aren't weightlifters, but want to keep good cardiovascular health, cardio is obviously the choice.. But a good run is 30-45 minutes, if you don't have time for that, try something called HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), a good HIIT run is 10-15 minutes, cuts down a lot on time. Very effective, it's EXCELLENT for cardiovascular health, and it burns fat very efficiently, it burns fat while you're sedentary also, suitable for a trucker. It's intense and hurts, but it's worth it. Good luck and stay healthy guys!
