i don't think it idles at 20. i am not sure if that is while it is idling or just after it takes off.

to be the most accurate i will state the complaint again:

"the truck has a lack of power while driving. when the truck is pulled over to the side of the road for approximately ten minutes there is a noticable increase is power when the truck goes back on the the road. when the truck leaves an idle and goes back on the road it has a boost pressure of about 20 and after five minutes of driving the power is again depleted and there is a drop in the boost pressure to about 12-13."

found a few things and made a few changes.

replaced the napa filters with cat filters. we also had the fuel filter and water separator filters backwards. after this change we have a fuel pressure of 85 psi at idle and 110 psi at full throttle.

the fuel filter was where the water separator should have been and visa versa.

we had the water separator in last.

The following new info is available.

All filters are new and Cat filters.
All fuel lines are new between first filter and fuel tank.
    Fuel tank water was drained.
Pressure gauge installed and watched while truck was loaded. Fuel pressure maintained a constant 110 psi under load.

    Still lacks power.

Does it smoke? What are exhaust temps? Possibly air filters, air to air, clogged muffler?
